Provides a reliable, comfortable and fast service. Black cabs are more expensive than minicabs but offer better comfort. Black cabs can be hailed in the street and there are taxi ranks at many of London's stations.
Before getting into the cab, you should tell the driver your destination. The meter will show the cost of the ride and it's customary to add 10% tip. You can also hire a taxi for airport transfers, sightseeing tours, long journeys or special events.
